i don't understand how the security for salina works. do they just land that little plane on one of the loop drives and drop you off at the door and then you walk into mci and go though security?

pretty much. about all they do when you board in salina is make sure that your luggage doesn't weigh more than a large cat, and then you just walk outside and hop in the plane. then you get dropped off at some pud satellite terminal and they have to shuttle you over to the big boys and go through security and stuff. that part's kinda a PITA.

it's kinda hilarious because you don't even really get up to altitude or whatever - flight path is pretty much like that of a punt. probably in the air for like 45 minutes or so. there's not really much of a time savings, but i really hate driving to MCI

Private. The main hangar(hangar 10) is on the backside away from 69. It's pretty slick. Have left my house 20 min before takeoff and had no issues.
