hey guys let's fire up the old SW CATTLE LINE vs ELITE DELTA STUD TRAVELER LINE argument for the billionth time

the delta cattle pen is much more disorganized than the sw boarding process.  i can't really understand how anyone could think otherwise.

swa:  stand right here, this is your spot
delta:  hey 90 people, come on aboard!

i'm not talking about once we're on the plane, only the process of boarding the plane smdh

i usually fly delta prem and this was my first recent experience with the plebs in zone 1 and it was disgusting

is there any way (credit card) to get delta +silver status w/o flying a lot?

Oh man gold is like a completely different thing, good for you. You'll be in sky like 99% of the time, plus 100% miles bonus on every flight, and if you're not in 1st you'll be in economy+ almost all the time so free booze if you're into that

funny you ask- they only were using those for non pre check
my boss used it and it was 3x the pre check (15 vs 45)

that seems dumb...us pre checkers should get the good stuff....I haven't been through it but the new lines sounded like they would be a lot quicker.  Went through something similar in scotland and it was awesome.

Thanks.  Lots of real runners in town. I am just a casual runner. Fun, though.

American is rough ridin' terrible too.  All these assholes slamming into the check in at once, fighting each other for position.  Then, having to hold up boarding while some bad person in row 9 has to fight back against the stream after he placed his carry on in row 25.

I was a weekly SWA flyer for years and recently had to switch to American.  The last 3 months have been relatively miserable on American vs SWA.

Long live SWA.

the key is to check your bag. the only time i hurry to get on the plane as soon as possible is if i have a roller carry on because the overhead space fills up quick.

if i check a bag, i am the last human to get on the plane. i know where i'm sitting and don't need overhead space. that's where i love the Delta experience way more than SW.

Only time I can afford to check is when I am headed home.  However, I only check when ordered to.

Gate check for free ...problem is when waiting at KCI for their horrible baggage handling process to deliver said gate checked bag.
