I'd suggest going to West Loop, trying to hit Hi Five Ramen right when it opens at 6, and hanging out at the bar upstairs at Green Street Smoked Meats while you wait. If you are around Friday, I'll grab a beer with you.

Mrs Wacky and I have Portland (Oregon) this Thursday afternoon through Sunday afternoon. We'll probably do some bar hoping on Friday and check out the Columbia Gorge on Saturday.

Would love any other pro tips. Beems, if you're lurking, hit a brother up!

My folks just had friends visit them for 8 days and they were only able to get outside for one day. Maybe you'll hit it right. Maybe have some backup plans like breweries and Voodoo Donuts (<-- will get rained on in line).

So Portland is officially the only place where you go to eat Mexican at their Mexican spot, open the back door to what you think is where the restrooms are, and you open the door instead to a strip club. Mrs. Wacky's night went like this. Of course we went ahead and walked in after we found this out. We were curious and it was free.

People in sd are drunk 24/7 so yes on alcohol, also yes to peyote.
