The Coral Gables ones are right at the U so that'd be easy, but seems there'd be a little more going on during the day and happy hour or dinner at Brickell?"

Coral Gables is worth experiencing. If you stayed in Brickell, you could plan on seeing and having a drink or two in each area.

  Got the IC in Brickell.  How early do I need to get to CG before the game to experience it sufficiently, and what should I be experiencing?

Google will be more helpful than me. I was just along for the ride a long time ago. Went to a couple swanky restaurant bars. Almost all of Miami is yucky, but CG is pretty gorgeous.

Ah, that's easy, the show up and wander between bars experience.  I'll head that way when happy hour sucks or is over in brickell.

Swanky = jeans and #teamangel t-shirt, and riding a hoverboard if the airlines loosen up by then

AFAIK, all (most?) of the western business type hotels are outside of city center, because anything close to city center is really rough ridin' old.  And that's where you'll want to be.  One time a colleague and I had work there and we flew in a few days early for fun, did airbnb and got a flat which was a cool (and better, IMO) experience than staying where work wanted us to stay.  Cheaper too.  It was just north or northwest of Nyhavn which you will want to visit.  I've never been but you should for sure visit Christiania, a sort of free society or whatever.  I actually think Aarhus is more fun than Copenhagen but whatevs.  The Danes are for the most part pretty nice and reasonable people, almost everyone you will encounter will speak English, and even better English than the brits.

Awesome, Thanks! A few of the hotels we were looking at there are western hotels, was going to use up some points. But, since we're only there for two days I'd rather be in the part of the city where we want to spend our time. Will look closer at some airbnb!

Hey guys. I don't have any air travel planned for the next few months. So, these will expire before I can use them. First PM in my Inbox can have them. In addition to the free pass, they're good for a $50 discount on Admiral Club membership.

I'm flying to NYC next Monday night, i will be there all day Tuesday and Wednesday, then flying home on Thursday afternoon.  I'm there to see the sites and sounds, I plan on avoiding the 9/11 memorial, statue of liberty/ellis island and empire state building.

Only things i have tentatively scheduled is the Knicks/Boston game at msg and will likely go see AvenueQ on broadway (or off broadway, or whatever it is).  Central Park and the NYC HighLine are likely stops as well.

I'm open to any suggestions.

So my travel tip is to go look for record stores in new cities if you're in a new city and don't know what to do. Yeah, it's a hobby of mine, but it gets you into neighborhoods off the beaten path away from tourists. Even if you don't wind up with something, you're seeing part of the city most tourists haven't. Had good luck with this in several cities.
