OK I booked the flights (NONSTOP BOTH WAYS!!!).

so you openjawed it with a planned chunnel trip?  why'd you choose that option rather than a stopover?

The Winged Victory of Samothrace at the Louvre was very impressive to me for some reason. I don't really get into statues and stuff but for some reason I liked the crap out of it. Make sure you see that. It's on like a main staircase so you probably can't miss it.

snapped this HUSKGUY - quality shot this summer  :gocho:

mich, idk what your UR situation is, but the hotel du louvre is in a primo location and it's only 20k/night, if you end up not doing the hyatt card again (or want to use those nights in london or something)

actually, I'm not sure how doable that would be through London without another stop. Plus flights are only like $80 between the two and I'm not ready to plan when we go from London Paris.

He's suggesting I book a flight from SFO to CDG with a "stopover" at LHR. Problem is I think I'd have to go LHR-FRA-CDG and that just seems like a massive waste of time.

There are 3, so suck it mocat, big time know it all

oh i'm sorry i read that wrong. i thought you meant slc as in the airport specifically
More than that, I can think of at least 5 off the top of my head although none in SLC proper.

And I have no intention to actually leave termy wherever layover is.

I don't get how an LAX connection would be comparable to MSP or CVG. I guess maybe if you were going to KC?

Ah. Then I'd probably go lax to avoid weather delays. (And it seems like it could be the shortest.)

what airline?
Delta (he's based in salt lake and listed delta hubs)

But, is CVG still hanging in there as a hub?

Allegiant and Frontier are good for CVG. Like a light at the end of the Delta tunnel they've been trapped in.

Delta's CVG lease expires in 2020, but they still get tons of business from P&G and Kroger. Who knows what they'll do?
