The best roller coaster, Escape from Gringots, has spoilers for the seventh book. So make sure your daughter reads up if she wants to avoid spoilers!

We walked through Harry Potter land when we were there a few years ago. No one in my family has read or seen a Harry Potter but we thought the buildings all looked cool. We were the only ones not dressed up like wizards.

That’s awesome lib
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Damn, SW really going for it. No more free bags, adding “basic economy”, rewards now expire within a year, “dynamic pricing”. Hedge funds finally got to them.

Flight credits expire within a year, not rewards. Still sucks but quite different.

Pulled a sf bigtime. I was only going to fugi for one night so I left my carry on at a coin locker at the train station and just used my backpack. It gives you a paper receipt with a pin code to retrieve your crap. Problem is... Every single transaction in Japan gives you a paper receipt and there are no public trash cans so you just collect a pocket full of receipts to throw away when you get back to your hotel. Well I kept that receipt in a separate pocket but in my cleaning frenzy I trashed that too. Now I've been trying to reach the company by phone since yesterday with a perma-busy signal. Finally got them to answer this morning, but what a pain in the ass.

I notoriously lose any and all receipts, so I take a pic of all receipts that I need to keep immediately upon receiving them.

Reminds me of my pro tip I started doing of taking pictures of any paper thing I get that I care about like bellman luggage tickets, etc.

I'm sure it will work out, seems like a pretty common problem given the situation?

Got the bag today. The Japanese are shockingly trusting, they didn't even ask for an ID or anything.

Sorry I missed this earlier.  I did the exact thing and found a guy at the station that let me into the locker to get my stuff based on my word.
