This thread is pretty embarrassing. I wonder if Stevesie will accept the shame of endorsing Cuervo (Quervo ) Gold

The new(er) Kirkland anejo is very good.

Centanario anejo is one of my favorites for the price. Tastes like they finish in cedar barrels.  :dunno:

How could you possibly fail at qualifying for a Costco membership?

You just buy it, right? There's no background check?

It had been 5 years since I said I was going to try and qualify for a Costco membership. Nobody else had posted anything ITT. As a joke(it’s taken 5 years to see if I qualify for a membership) I said that to continue where the thread left off.

I never go to Costco and only made that comment as a joke. Good grief guys jokes aren’t as funny when you have to explain them. :dubious:

costco is one of my top 5 favorite places to go and I basically love everything they sell.  its like their buyers read my mind when they work with suppliers

I used to drive right by a Costco back when I went into the office. I never once shopped there, but I was basically there everyday. It was nice. I recommend Costco based on my limited experience.

Not tequila, but it's related and I didn't feel like creating a new thread.  Tonight I am trying out my first mezcal de pechuga (this one distilled with chicken). We'll see how it goes.

WTF!  Isn't mezcal basically tequila with the agave worm in the bottle.  This is from google:

So tequila is a type of mezcal, but mezcal is not tequila, and only mezcal has worms. According to Anthony Dias Blue's Complete Book of Spirits, that "worm" is actually a larva from one of two types of moths, known as maguey worms, that live on the agave plant.

PS:  Drank a lot of tequila and mezcal when I was living in New Mexico.

Most mezcals don't have a worm in them, but I believe one of the reasons they were put in there originally was to prove it was the proper proof.

Among other things, tequila must be made from a very a specific kind of agave, namely blue agave.

Wow it's very different than anything I've ever had before.   This one is very cinnamony and a bit sweet.

The first sip took me aback a bit. I've had quite a few mezcals before, but nothing like this.   Sip two and I could appreciate it for what it was and I really dig it. Smooth as all hell.
