early 00's LABCO experiences were always very WTF for me. Like I didn't understand why people would go all the way out into basically the suburbs to eat that garbage and drink that garbage. that must have been the low point of the place. or, I mean, hopefully that was the lowest point.

I only went there with my grandparents and they moved away in like 2012. I had a huge crush on one of the waitresses there but was friendzoned  :frown:

I think it could be nostalgia. I've heard regulars talk about when they were younger they'd go there to fill up their growlers.

I'm sorry for your loss. Getting friendzoned sucks butt. At least, that's what I've heard.

You know what place continually whips ass? Houlihans.

Josh N. deserved to be ignored. He further deserves to have his snake mug taken from him and given to sys.

Don't PI me for saying this but my favorite food/drink experience in Manhattan is getting pleasantly buzzed at Houlihans and then strolling around campus on a summer evening.

The only possible PI-worthy thing here is that you stop at pleasantly buzzed rather than taking advantage of their fabulous drink specials and getting fully pak'd.

LABCO's special/daily updated menu is the best menu in Manhattan no matter the day.

If I'm remembering correctly, they had a stupid cheap Long Island night that would do the trick for us broke ass college kids.
