like, let's just get tons and tons of cheap shitty bars that can survive on two nights of slinging crispy boys per week. (non j-kaws tho)
Bring back DrinX!

I was there like a year ago. It was alright, didn’t get food or anything. The drinks were alright and it was a pretty chill environment. The seating and stuff reminded me of Kathouse in that it was hangout chill type stuff. I feel like this was a pretty shitty review so hopefully someone else has a better description of their visit.

It is good. not a lot of food options but they are done well. they have competent bartenders that can make pretty good cocktails even if they aren't on the menu.

Fantastic tiki drinks. Same people that own Arrow. The food is gourmet concession stand fare (hot dogs, nachos, pretzels). Definitely a cool place to grab a drink after dinner downtown.

Confirmed that Torchys is moving into the Old Hibachi Hut/Fuzzy's spot. Fall 2020 is the targeted date I've heard.

Was hoping that would be the location. They are absolutely going to kill/destroy.

It will be interesting to see if it has any impact on Taco Lucha.

On another MHK related note...if you haven't been down to the Hi-Lo to see their pop-up Christmas bar you should before the month is over. The decorating they did is pretty amazeballs and the cocktail menu is not too shabby either.

Whirlwind of a weekend in MHK, ran into waks while at a 6/7 Saturday night at Mae's post-wedding, .

Tried Pool House with KK on Saturday lunch and it was very enjoyable.  Nice sig cocks and a solid pretzel dog.

Stepped into Wine Dive for Sunday brunch b/c we did not have time for The Chef's wait before the flight out.  Less than impressive, service was pretty bad, wife's coffee cup had lipstick stains, silverware was dirty.  On the plus side, my food was pretty good.

Had a delicious pickled egg at noted MHK eatery "The Aggieville Lounge."

Three former Tallgrass employees are opening it. I've had some of their stuff. Should be a cool spot.

I don't want to say too much! One of the owners is a former Kansas State Wildcats footballer  :surprised:
