The recent heat has pretty much killed my sugar snap peas...still have a couple producing but then its time to pull them out.

Made first batch of dill pickles yesterday from all my cucumbers. 3 jars total, 2 spears and 1 of sliced hamburger style.

Any super secret recipes I should try? I basically just googled homemade pickle recipes and boiled some vinegar/water/salt/sugar and poured it over my cuc's.

my mother used to make some really good pickles. they weren't canned or anything, so i think they were just partially cured. they stayed in the refrigerator until they were eaten.

First batch of the year, cukes from our garden. These are refrigerator pickles, so just mix up the brine, toss em in the fridge, and they're delicious 5 days later...
