garden protocol enacted yesterday: 3 types of tomatoes (big, medium small), red and yellow sweet peppers, bhut jolokia and poblano hot peppers, onions, radishes, lettuce, yellow squash, cukes, and cantelope.
Puni, that is really exciting. And frankly, based on your posts in the lunch thread, very surprising. I'm rooting especially hard or your cantaloupe, as I've never had much luck with them.
I brought in my first round of veggies to share with co-workers this week, which was a big hit. Also I have an absolute ton of cute Tiny Li'l Baby Limes (TLBL) and TLBFigs on my trees right now. It's the first year either tree has produced, and they are both exploding.
Last weekend I took out most of the greens in the garden (kale, spinach, mustards, lettuce) and replaced them with more heat-tolerant plants (limas, peas, collards, okra, sunflowers, more 'maters). It's really astonishing how fast beans grow.
