Pretty Impressive Run of OBL . . . if you're to believe the media, he of a very loose organization of "terra-ists" managed to allude the law enforcement and intelligence net of some 16 U.S. Intelligence agencies, the FBI, all of the Western European Intelligence Agencies, Inter-Pol and the Israeli Mossad for nearly 2 decades.   Costing all of those folks billions upon billions of dollars and with those folks having a combined $5-10 Trillion dollars in technological and humnet assets at their disposal.    At the same time OBL was able to put together a loose band of rag tag terrorists called "Al Queda" and wreck havoc around the world.    Even if he did get help from the ISI and the Saudi', that's a pretty damn good run.

Oh and for all you lemmings, go research the story of former FBI agent John O'Neill (deceased 9-11-2001) and find out why he resigned from the FBI.

If all the stories are too be believed right down to the letter . . . it's a damn shame Bill Clinton didn't pull the trigger,  think of all the pain and suffering that would have been avoided just be killing one guy.

The respected Mexican press published a profile on a Mexican-American SEAL involved in the operation. Hope that guy gets a chance to pull some major culo before they blow up his car or something.

Yeah, alqueda has had incredible success car bombing the Navy Seals.

to be fair, they'd probably blow up softer targets, like his family members still in mexico

al qaeda is a friend of Mexico. They allow them into Mexico and cross into the US dressed as Mexican workers.

What are the chances we recover information from documents, hard drives, etc. that links BL to recieving support from Pakistani military or government?  Could see crap getting serious if there is something in that stuff.  Of course maybe they were all  :dunno: the whole time.

(Didn't want this in the pit, just seems like something plausible that might come out of this)

Well yeah.  But that's not what you were guessing.

Is it true OBL wasn't even armed but sent some woman to attack the SEALS and got them killed?  The guy is a bigger dirtball than I thought.

If true, they should release the video, not just the death photo.

does anyone else get a kick out of seeing Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) fake quotes pop up all over the internet and everyone thinking they are legitimate?  - abraham lincoln

Meh, most of that quote is real. It isn't too surprising that it caught on.

Some lady from Penn State posted the first part (about not celebrating death) and somehow her statement was added to the MLK quote, and it spread from there.

How does the supposed killing of OBL change anything? We're still going to be in the middle east with no foreseeable ending. Still illegally bombing Pakistan. Still spending a trillion dollars a year to line the pockets of the oil companies.

The list goes on.

Are you able to take the positive out of a situation or is everything negative to you?
Not really sure that anyone is claiming that OBL being gone solves all the world's problems, but not having to worry about possibly the greatest terrorist in modern history (maybe ever) should be considered a positive, no?

But the government WANTS you to take it as a positive.  rube.

I don't give two shits what the government wants me to think. I personally am glad he's gone.
I didn't realize thinking on your own is really that hard to do.

How do we know he's dead though is all I'm saying. Much of the rest of the world is skeptical except the US. If he is dead, than yeah that's great....but still won't stop our war mongering government from slowly destroying the rest of the middle east.

But if you want to let the government and the media think for you, than be my guest.

Too bad Clinton was busy sending $100,000 cruise missiles into $10 tents with no one home. And bombing other places to distract people from him banging that slut.
