guys, here's the thing about fashions like pocket tank tops. you think you look all douchey or silly in them or whatever, but who gives an eff if the girls dig it? unless the purpose of the official fashion thread is for guys to learn how to dress to impress guys. which it might well be...i can't seem to tell.

I don't give a crap what guys think about how I dress, as long as girls dig it.  A few months ago when I was last in MHK and went out in Aggieville I was totally preppied-up in a sweater vest.  I literally had guys come up to me at two different bars and say something.  It also happened when I was back last summer.  Yeah, I don't care.  If I'm out with a beautiful girl, or girls are hitting on me, not a single solitary eff is given about what guys say to me.

But that's just one man's opinion.

yeah I will wear some squints type looking glasses out every once in a while and catch a lot of flack from fellas but the ladies love them and its a great ice breaker. a walk from shot stop to pats I had 2 guys give me crap and one girl say there goes the guy with the most swag in manhattan and then another want to try them on when I said they were prescription.

Quick question.  What's up with the phenomenon of dudes wearing dyed khaki shorts and with cross trainers and mid calf nike socks.  Saw about 10 dudes rocking this look friday afternoon, evening in aggieville.  Usually coupled with backwards or tilted back flat-bill (with tufts of hair sticking out), too-tight tshirt (shorts were also too tight), with the whole outfit clashing horribly colorwise.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

It seems to be a frat look(and no I am not a frat hater) but you can easily point them out in a crowd

dyed khaki shorts and high socks are kind of a frat look, but everything else in the description isn't.

seems weird.

I'm guessing we're not hearing the whole story here. Just a hunch.

No srsly.  Sweater vest + blue gingham shirt.  Don't remember what else I was wearing, but it was either dark jeans or Banana Republic chinos.  Guy at Kites walked up to me when I was ordering a beer and specifically tried to make fun of me for wearing a sweater vest.  He was wearing a t-shirt I believe.  I was with a girl that night who was wearing a dress -- arguably overdressed -- but she was in the bathroom at the time.  The other comment that night made more sense given the location: someone at the Lou joked we were overdressed and making everyone else in Aggieville look bad.

The comment the summer before came when I was wearing a tan summer suit for an event.  There you have it.

If I were to cut the excess pockets off my cargo shorts, would that be fashion?

Thoughts on this stuff?  Short-sleeve button downs are heating up, imo!

The dress code in my office is bizarre.

You can wear whatever the eff you want as long as your shirt has a collar.

Anyone have suggestos for casual dress w/ collared shirt? I'm tired of/don't really like polos.

Been rocking the long sleeve shirt w/ sleeves rolled up and khakis found below too often, need to mix it up. (minus flip flops... I hate flip flops.)

What I normally wear.

Agreed. What color shirt goes well with navy shorts? Besides white.
