Took my son to the game today, first time at a pro soccer game. Nice stadium, good time.

Nice, should have been a good game to start with.  From the highlights the attendance looked spotty, but I'm guessing CFB had a lot to do with that.

I saw somewhere that they have over a 96% chance of making the playoffs now.

thinking about going to the sept. 23rd game and sitting in the cauldron with some bros, how crazy does it get compared to the ksu student section?

well after the KSU home opener, at least you'll know the Couldron will be louder than BSFS.

At this point I would guess the Cauldron is actually crazier than the student section as sad as that is, but I guess having alcohol 5 feet away helps.  It doesn't get crazy enough to worry about your safety. Sitting down low is fun and gets wild, but it's not a great place to actually watch the game so you'll have to figure out which you'd rather have.

Awkward to watch, but hilarious at the same time. CJ Rocks. Plus, he's adorable. He'd fit right in with our BBall squad on that end of things. I say he's an adopted Wildcat.

went to the game last night and sat in the Cauldron, it was a lot of fun, plus free bobblehead and livestrong bracelet (welcome to 2004). Had a lot of good chances to score in the first half and probably should have, and the unions goal was due to sloppy defense.

Great crowd last night.

we didn't even score the winning goal...their dude tried to head an inbounds throw over the goal and out of bounds, it went up over the goal keeper's reach and came down into the goal.

3 games left...

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Was fantastic.

Side note: that guy would totally have been shot by now if we all lived in Brazil or some other country that shoots soccer players that eff up games.

Luck for him.

Mods, need a hand sig for :socceronly:

Let's get the win in San Jose, and maybe we'll be a little bit more comfy in our playoff clinching...

It drives me insane that I can't watch these games here in Manhattan.  I wonder if there's any hope that TV coverage will expand for the team next year?  It seems like fox sports with all of their soccer interest would want to televise them but I guess it would probably conflict with the Royals coverage.

Isn't Zusi out due to accumulation?  They said that during the last match, but they did so on a foul that wasn't his.   :dunno:

Next year get MLS Soccer TV. 40 bucks a year, all the games you can watch, replays, etc. Good deal

I've watched a crap ton of soccer, I actually used to date a chick that played D2 soccer.  It's not that I dislike it, it's just not one of my favorites.  Usually do try to catch the US team's games though.
