Tuesday night at Celtic Park against the reigning champions of Europe is going to be absolute scenes. Coming off a 4-0 thrashing of Rangers (where you @fun muffin ?) I know Paradise will be rocking. Absolutely nothing to lose and could be a special night up there with beating Barcelona and Milan. Either way will be fun watching a plucky underdog take on the kings of Europe. What the competition is all about.

If you have paramount I would highly recommend at least watching the first 20-30 minutes of Celtic/rangers if you like soccer at all. Celtic take every dead ball quickly, their ball boys are like a 12th man and it is just the most high intensity fun you will see this side of Leeds when they are up for it.

I like that we have both sides of the Old Firm represented in here. Pretty much as good as rivalries get. I didn't realize there was a left wing-right wing element to it - I thought it was all Catholic-Protestant. I would be interested to read more about that history.

Chelsea should hire Graham Potter imho. Or at least someone who likes Pulisic and will play him more before the WC.

Yeah I mean it tracks the same way with the Irish conflict in general.

As for the game, watched the replay until the last goal was scored and Celtic really played well for about 47 minutes then they got caught on the break by a very Real Madrid play and then kind of collapsed.

I’m not sure why Gomez is playing over Matip. I’m assuming Konate will get the majority of playing time with VvD when he’s back from injury. TAA is regressing defensively and he was already weak.

I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate the ifab handball rules. They don't make any rough ridin' sense at all and are way too subjective. Just call every handball, stop making referees and VARs guess on what they should be calling.

United weren't great today but under any reading of the rule that is not a handball. Arm in towards his body and in a natural position, and it deflects off his leg first.

Probably needed to be 3 points for Celtic to get 2nd. Going to need some wins at home.

But not all was lost!
