I hope Pulisic can get out of this awful situation before the transfer window closes.

Leeds are going to be really awful to play against. Their pressing, pace and snapping at your heels on every close out is just the worst. Not sure their squad can keep up this pace all year, but Marsch deserves a lot of credit.

Lol @ Marsch barely looking at Tuchel and just giving him a little high five.

He is doing a mourinho impression without any of the likable parts of mourinho.

Only one match today and it's between the two teams with the largest fanbases in the EPL and it's only on Peacock TV.   I guess they assume all EPL fans have Peacock, and I do, but it seems like putting it on USA would be beneficial to both NBC/Peacock and the EPL.

Shaw and Maguire should never play for United again. Also pleased to see Ronnie dropped.

United caught Liverpool in a rough moment with injuries/suspensions but it was nice to actually see some drive and team spirit. It was also weird to see Milner and VVD fighting multiple times throughout the game. Can't tell if there's a bigger problem there or not.

ManU out ran Liverpool to every free ball.  I’ve never been a fan of Milner and Henderson being on the pitch at the same time. They both play their asses off but they’re too slow to both be out there.  Liverpool doesn’t  have the depth to make a run at City like last year. Playing for second and Champions League now.

I am about to watch highlights but I am happy that rashford finally seems to be finding some form and lol at Ronaldo on the bench.

And not even the first option off the bench. Martial came on at halftime and had a really solid performance. Ronaldo should leave (if anyone even wants him).

What he did was annoying, everything he does is annoying, but he absolutely shouldn't have gotten a second yellow for that. Salah messed it up and he should have just let Michael Oliver take care of it. There's nothing wrong with him taking that ball out of the net, the time wasting came when Salah tried to take it. If Bruno went on a walkabout with the ball, which he almost certainly would have, he should be carded but Salah didn't even let him take two steps.

The flop(s) after were embarrassing.

yeah the flop after salah tried taking the ball was lol, clearly didn't learn his lesson after the one he got the yellow for, but whatever.  very interesting first 3 weeks, my takeaways...

- Haaland is a monster
- Jesus and Zinchenko to Arsenal are looking big for them
- Leeds is definitely the team i think Americans new to the league will pick to follow, and be a 2nd team to follow for a lot of others
- Chelsea/Liverpool/Man United early struggles make for fun looking table, but it's clearly early.
- Premier League is such a fun league to watch, top to bottom

Palace looked the best I'd ever seen them against Villa. Eze looks 100% and Zaha somehow still seems to be getting better. They also have an American!

I was sad watching my dreamboat son Gallagher get his ass kicked against Leeds. He was so happy at Palace. :frown:

I can't begin to tell you how astounding this goal was after watching Royball for two years (I didn't follow them before that)

My thoughts so far

Man city looks like they may be able to hit 100 points, the scare at St. James notwithstanding.

Chelsea will have some real problems if kovacic and kante are not going to play a lot and they need a striker.

Liverpool needs to get healthy and may be hitting a bit of a wall with all those matches and a squad that isn’t nearly as deep as man city.

I agree about Leeds and think they will be a very tough cup team.

Wolves have spent £100m and look as likely to go down as anyone.
