Fitz posted a note about our troubles on here yesterday afternoon. It's been by far the most stressful circumstance we've ever run into for a road trip in my tenure with GPC and, just our luck, it happens for arguably the most important game of the entire sports season.To catch you up to speed, we uncovered some importing issues on our editing laptop yesterday following an abundance of interviews with Michigan and K-State players, along with stand-ups with Fitz and I for the web. After spending nearly 5 hours searching for a solution, trying to narrow down where this all stemmed from, even making a few impulse buys at Best Buy and online with Quicktime last night thinking we had it uncovered, the night got to be pretty late and we had to get started on the GoPowercat.com Pregame Radio show for Saturday.This morning, after hearing from Coach Snyder and Coach Hoke, Fitz and I drove over to a local Mac expert here in Scottsdale and dropped the laptop off with them in hopes that possibly their knowledge would figure it out. After a few hours, we returned to find that we can now see some of our existing video clips from previous games/projects, but continue to have issues with the latest files.I'm not going to get into all the computer and video jargon, but we believe it's an internal problem with Quicktime and a missing codec or bridge, blah blah blah.Needless to say, I am at a loss for words with my work here in Arizona. I can't thank Fitz's patience and the effort of D.Scott enough for keeping the website going without any assistance from my video end. We have a last ditch, quick fix to get us through tomorrow which involves me using iMovie on Fitz's laptop, which somehow can see the video that mine can't, but I warn you that it will be extremely simple with no guarantee on viewing quality. We greatly apologize for this freak accident that's left me personally in an emotional mess. Wish I had some some sights and sounds to share with you all. Cross your fingers for at least SOMETHING, ANYTHING tomorrow.
