If he just stops by to read occasionally then he really would be mumped. I don't know what I'd do without the unread button. Such a time saver.

QuoteThat board is a friggin' nightmare. Call me a shirt tuck if you want. It's just too much stinking work. It's like it's written in code. Everyone acts like they know what the other people are talking about, but I don't know if any of them really do. You can't tell what is serious and what isn't. The only way you can possibly know what the heck is going on is to be on there constantly. Definitely not for the guy that wants to catch up a couple times a week or even daily.Nobody ever comes out and says something straight forward. They always link something that you have to read and then try to draw conclusions on what the heck they are trying to infer or state something cryptically like you should all know what's going on. If there is a business model, I don't know how that works. Most of us with jobs don't have time for that crap. Not to mention the threads are a hundred pages long. I don't have any idea how people keep track of what they read or haven't read. I used to get some amusement out of some of the cleverness. There were/are some truly funny people over there, but as far as getting any useful information, it's just not worth the effort.Call me a tuck. I've given up.

maybe we should have a weekly wrap up blog so the casual observer can see what went down in the week of the cats. trim?
Of all the things, my biggest complaint of gP is that most don't appreciate/use good ADV stats there.
just imagine. we get the new vanier project done with video board, north endzone seats. the north endzone is and vanier connects both east and west sides so north is completely enclosed. tunnel for players to come out of.we have the upper deck wrap around south side to get us to about 65k. the boys lining up in the tunnel ready to come out and ACDC's Highway to hell is blaring with our crowd just in a frenzy. of course they still run out to the kstate Fight. dang it, that just gives me chills. yea, it won't be 90k or 100k seating, but with the limestone wall too, how can it not rival anywhere in atmosphere and stadium asthetics.
I think a lot of the posters over there are clever as hell, and their ability to troll other fanbases' boards is nothing short of inspirational (and I'm not generally much of a fan of trolling). It always makes me chuckle when the true tucks on this board run around on other fanbases' boards and warn them about the "childish" meanies over there, and how they're not "real K-State fans"...seriously, most of the resident posters over there are hilarious, and I have no doubt I would have a blast getting hammered with them. That being said, I actually have to agree with a lot of what you posted. Especially the part about it being "too much stinking work" and "not for the guy that wants to catch up a couple of times a week or even daily" (which perfectly describes me). Much as I prefer to live in an area where my views are considered more "conservative" than the norm (i.e., surrounded by "liberals" - I would probably be viewed as a flaming liberal by Kansas standards, hence the Oregon residence), I also prefer to spend my online time surrounded by those more "tuckish" than myself. For better or for worse, you are my family, GPC. Every tucking one of you.

Prewett will be a legend ReplySometimes you can just tell these things. I've never seen him in real life, never heard him speak. Strictly basing this off his film and his smile, you can tell this kid will be a legendary Safety for the Cats. Fold it up, book it and pull it out in 2017. He'll be the Rodney McGruder of Football11/14 6:59 AM | IP: Logged
Re: Prewett will be a legend ReplyWe have had a lot of great safeties over the years Smith, Chapman, Cooper, McGraw, Hartman and Zimmerman just to name a few off the top of my head. 11/14 7:10 AM | IP: Logged
