Really am enjoying the KSUFreak offensive play breakdown thread, with the usual suspects arriving in mass to go all tuck on the guy because he makes some valid points/talking points . . . but not _fan worthy.

I can understand having subtle differences in how people interpret personnel/formations, but when I chart the game I only see us in 2 RB/2 WR formations on less than 1/3 of our offensive snaps. Bizarre.
Am I the only one that does not see the Freak is trolling the hell out of everyone, including this board. JFC

Why do dumbasses keep misunderstanding what trolling is, it really bothers me?

But fitz, what am I missing when you say "you can't run a recruiting-only site with a LHC Bill Snyder program and stay in business." No coach talks about recruiting....none.Posted from wireless.rivals.com
FITZSure they do. Coaches can't talk on the record or publicly. There are sites that get every recruiting list with phone numbers handed to them. Some coaches want recruits talked about. They want the buzz. There are schools that will let recruiting writers know when they've called a recruit, so it may be a good idea to call them, too. How nice would it be to know a recruit is visiting, have him pointed out and then be allowed to talk to him on the sideline? That pushes the rules, but schools do it all the time. All the time. Not K-State.Want to know why certain schools always have great recruiting classes? It's not just because if they recruit them, they must be good. Many big schools let the services know who they think the best players are in the spring and summer. So, if Notre Dame swears Dayne Crist is a stud quarterback, he's an instant five-star recruit.Another thing that makes it hard to monitor K-State recruiting without a great deal of assistance is this staff recruits high school and junior college from coast to coast. I can't imagine how awesome it would be to have half the class come from a four-hour radius so you not only knew who they were recruiting, but you could get into a car to watch them play, shoot video and do in-person interviews like Wally did with Jordan Willis from Rockhurst.Mostly, though, K-State under Snyder recruits at a different pace than most other programs. They are clearly focused on this year's team right now and they are not having many official visitors on campus. There is more action right now in an 80-year-old man's bedroom than in K-State football recruiting.10/15 10:52 PM | IP: Logged
