If that TMZ footage was a bit more focused - that might surplant the Kate Upton video.

I can't even say how happy this thread has made me.  I have literally spent the past couple of hours going through it, and it has exorcized a lot of demons.  Now don't get me wrong, the half-assed attempt at getting a scoop and super shallow analysis pushed me towards the exit, but it was the people there that really did it.  My EMAW-ness was in direct conflict with those people.  I swear there's no one there under 50, and if there are, then they're the douche-o ag dudes who went to lectures in cowboy hats or the ones who kept lecturing people about Jesus behind the Union.

You guys all nailed it.  The prayer vigils, the lazily-coded racism in "he's surprisingly athletic and does things the right way" and "he's a Kansas kid who will outwork anybody," the ridiculous craig's list postings, and overall ass-hattery.  I never understood why the GP people hated Nebraska fans so much.  They act exactly like them.  I couldn't take it anymore.  I'm ashamed to admit that I stayed there for far too long.

But where are you going to find a good plumber in Pratt? That kind of scoop has to be worth 10$ an month by itself.

All I can ask for is the opportunity to say ridiculous crap which will be promptly thrown back in my face and then come back to haunt me at a later date.  Oh, and certified KSU grad.  I've got the debt to prove it.  I came from out of state, and I brought back so much EMAW that my dad actually bought a house in Manhattan, retired there, and bought season tickets.  Going back for the Tech game.  Good times.

Pretty much.  They are then ostracized by GPC/Warren Fitz

I do have a Fitz story from a couple years back.  He was an alum of my frat and came back for some alumni event.  When it was over, I was bringing some of the unused hamburger and hotdog buns to the kitchen, and who was sticking entire upper torso in the fridge with an armful of brat packages and large blocks of sliced cheese than good old Tim Fitzgerald.  He probably snuck through the side where they make food truck deliveries.  I remember saying something to the effect of "are you serious, dude?"  He mumbled something, and scampered off.  I brought up this story a while later in one of his threads in a tounge-in-cheek way, and I got a real nasty email about it along with a 3 day timeout.  I guess guys that steal cheap food from frat kitchens when they're in their 40s are a bit sensitive about it.
