I'm smoking ribs for the first time this afternoon. We got a new electric Masterbuilt smoker from Cabelas last weekend and we're doing ribs in it this afternoon. Wish me luck.....

Better song than...

I'm a music freak, I love all styles and era's; and given the time I can come up with a huge list of all time greatest songs, and argue about why any one of those songs is so important and amazing.

Now, with that said, is there a better song than Meatloaf's song, "Wasted Youth/Everything Louder than Everything Else?" It's so bloody cheesy, but god damn, this song rocks. Just imagine yourself as a 17yr. old kid who's miserable, awkward, pissed-off, mad at your dad, driving around late on a summer's night on back country roads in his beater car, smoking a cheap cigarette and blaring this song as loud as possible. THAT's rock-n-roll!

And for those of you who want to post your favorite songs, don't turn this post into widely acknowledged great songs (Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Britney Spears, etc), keep the theme to awesome songs that you figure the average music lover may not know or be familiar with (We all know Meatloaf - but no one talks about this song).

elwood has been around for too long. he's paying for GPC premium all this time. also he's facebook friends with a bunch of the other weird old people posters on GPC.  like, he talks to ladycatinaustin or whatever about her beautiful dog pictures she posted on facebook on GPC.  he then always asks for people's email addresses to send them pictures of his weird crap and asks them to email him and stuff.  it's not a sock.  it's just an amazing representation of a larger percentage of our fanbase than some would like to accept.
