Not gonna lie: feeling pretty hurt that my multiple townie-related threads a while back got me PI'd into starting one master townie thread, and now nobody posts townie-related matters in it anymore, they just scatter them all over other threads.  It just sits there now, ignored and untouched as the clumpy, tall grass at Griffith Park.

I like how they think that getting banned from the rivals/scout network is some sort of scarlet letter on our intelligence and self-esteem. Most of the time people on goEMAW get banned because they're willing to use humor and sarcasm that takes more than two brain cells, and they also don't parrot the party line and call out those who do. Getting banned from those sites should be more of a badge of honor than anything as long as you weren't just a dumbass in the process.

I was banned from GPC for replying "very creepy" to the thread where Tim Fitzgerald posted the bikini picture of the 18 year old manhattan girl that he got from her twitter feed.  The tweet with the pic wasn't even directed at him.

I thought I was banned from bluegoldnews awhile back but it's letting me "apply for access" again.
Where did you get that overnight bag?

The weird thing is that goEMAW has the reputation of being the "8th grade board," yet this is the only board of the three that doesn't have old perverts constantly posting pictures of cheerleaders and chicks in bikinis so the other old perverts can get their dicks hard.  LOL @ that noob who tried to start a "Women of KU" thread here that got moved to kstatefans.

I've never even had an account with either board - is this a common trait for any other regular posters?

If it was possible to make me have a worse impression of brass bands, this did it.

I love kstatefans.com. The longest thread on the front page in their "Aggieville" board is about the westminster dog show. I mean, wtf do those old coots do all day?

I can't believe we were able to land Mike Cox. He was one of the bright spots for UW.

Their big loss, our big gain.

What were they thinking? And how lucky are we?

Great Hire!

no kidding, wth is team-state-conference? If K-State can't win, I hope no one wins. Seriously? Team-state-conference? I could turn this into an Allen Iverson bit if you want. Team-state-conference? Team-state-conference? Really? Team-state-conference?

That's idiotic (not to mention the shirt tuck reference, which was old a month after it started).

Has there ever been a fanbase that has two distinct parts as separated as we are?

We can coexist w/o embracing.  eff that.  The two sides exist because of each other, not in spite of each other.

I'm anxious to see how kstatenation ultimately affects this dynamic.

I like the threads where one guy posts a new topic then responds to himself 3-4 times. Magic time.

Great night for Land Grant Universities
KSU takes down #3 and Mississippi State is off to a good start in taking down #1 Kentucky.

Then another poster chimed in and said, "Um, Kentucky is also a land grant."
