Could you guys imagine the tuck rage if somebody were to offer Robert a ride to Miami and then stand him up, thus breaking the streak?

At MOAP2, Pett is only allowed to eat the cheese that Robert brings from when the whole Pett family ran interference as Robert was robbing the Wichita Alumni Club blind.

I'm pretty sure this streak isn't accurate anymore.  I really don't think it's consecutive away games.  I think it's now consecutive away conference games.  I was at Louisiana-Lafayette all day, walking around in a crowd smaller than most Texas high school crowds, and the dude was nowhere to be found.  Thought it was pretty weird.  Pretty sure he missed it because he couldn't afford to go to both Lafayette one week and UCLA the next.  Can anyone who was in Lafayette confirm and prove me wrong?

God help him if he tries to sneak off with any of our MOAP2 food.

I've never seen him in the meat goat lot.

Answer me these questions three.

Do you own llamas?  Do you have an afro?  Did you spend time with a guy with an afro, walking around at La-La not also not seeing Weird Robert?

I know this is a GPC thread and not a KStatefans thread, but threads like these are what make KSF people KSF people.

The latest ... sort of   Reply
Here is the latest on K-State's situation on realignment.

(Disclaimer: This is the same info I posted Monday night because nothing has changed. K-State is stuck in limbo at the time, but before someone complains that I haven't updated them in the last few hours, here is what's going on ...)

There really is no news from K-State's end. No one at K-State is capable of reading David Boren's mind. Heck, I don't think OU knows what it's going to do right now. I know everyone wants answers, but there are none right now. None. K-State has no cards to play until the fate of the Big 12 is sorted out.

I know you're frustrated, but I'm not going to pull a Chip and write about every possible scenario as what's going on that moment.

I stand by this: I said on the site Saturday that Texas doesn't want the Big 12 to break up and OU is posturing. I have been given no different information from the people I know who are close to the situation, but at this point I'd rather trust a politician than some of these university presidents.

As I've said on Wabash, if the Big 12 shatters, K-State will either end up in a west division of the Big East, or in a conference with schools from the Big East.

Coach Snyder has said on the record, and Coach Martin has tweeted, that there's no use fretting over things you cannot control and this is one of them. Is it major? Probably more for me than you because it could impact my livelihood, but only if you stop being a K-State fan because the Cats are in the Big East.

John Currie spoke at Saturday's game and didn't say anything other than he too still thinks the conference will survive. That still matches up with what I've been told by others. So, unless one of you has an inside line on the innermost thoughts of OU's president, I don't know what else to tell you.

Aww...Poor Fitz's feelings are hurt that his paying customers actually expect info from him beside game reviews.
I got a guy on the other line about some white walls

I saw Fitz' cable access tv show last night.  He talked about EMAW football looking so bad it made Eco-Kat sexy, followed up the other guy's HS football analysis by talking about the cheerleaders, and did a final take on how happy he was that Eco-Kat got killed.

New Article upon GPC - authored by Tim Fitzgerald.  The lead in....

"Tim Fitzgerald has been working to find the latest news regarding conference realignment as it pertains to the K-State athletics programs."

http://kansasstate.rivals.com/showmsg.asp?fid=419&tid=147102196&mid=147102196&sid=889&style=2

FITZ

"Some people I'm attempting to track down are not able to get back to me so far but I'm told it's because a lot is going on behind the scenes. Here is what I'm hearing: A) attempts to save the Big 12 are ongoing, and B) K-State has some choices if the Big 12 buckles.

With Mizzou back in play for the SEC and Texas flirting with the ACC or independence, it looks like a possible Pac-16 scenario is emerging with OU, OSU, KU and K-State filling the league. A lot can change that, though, but the Pac could set up a single regional network to serve all four schools.

The other option is is heading to the Big East because that's a better regional fit and better for the sports teams. Sharing a division with KU, TCU, Louisville and Cincinnati (if the sixth school isn't Missouri then it's not clear if it's Iowa State or maybe another Texas school) is more regional and may offer more exposure with the Big East tie to the media centers."

I wish someone else reported this, because both of those options sound pretty great.

So what Fitz is telling us is:

A.  KSU will be in the Big XII next year

or

B.  KSU will be somewhere other than the Big XII next year
