ccox---- Would like to apologize for asking why it was interesting that The Star/Eagle mentioned the extent of Thompson's setback. Apologies that I didn't have the extent of Thompson's injury in my report.

Does anyone still have that screenshot of like 4 people posting breaking K-State news and D. Scott posting about a sandwich at the same time?  That picture would make me smile right now.

I like Tubby's for the most part but this past weekend I was there and my girl and I were walking into the dance side from the back patio and she was a couple feet in front of me and there's these dudes standing in the hallway against the wall and one of them slaps my girls ass as she walks by. She turns around thinking it was me and just looks at me wondering who did it and just kept walking. I walked up to the dude and just stared him down, and he tried to play it off like he was cool. He looked the other way for a few seconds then finally looked at me and said "Oh, I'm guessing that's not your sister" and I say back "That's my girlfriend" and he says "oh my bad, i didn't know. bro code" then puts his hand up like he wants to give me dap or whatever and I just walk away because I wanted to punch him in the face but I didn't want to get arrested, I kind of just wanted to embarrass him in front of his friends. As I'm walking away the dude says "Yeah I would have beat your ass anyways" and I just keep walking. Dude was such a puss he couldn't even say it to my face.

i would've flashed the goEMAW.com signal to have Steve Dave and his fist of fury show up.  He needs the preseason warmup.  If not available i would've waited till he came out side and ran him over, then blamed it on the stuck accelerator pedal that i have yet to have replaced in my toyota, all while doing my best impression of this guy >>> :dunno:

This is probably sarcasam, but any coach worth his salt would show the Texas game. Watching last year's game will do no good whatsoever because we will be so much improved this year.

He's talking about the North Texas game where our D got annihilated by a Sun Belt team.

I understood it. My point is that, as a coach you wouldn't show the opponent's worst game, but their best game in order to show the greatest strengths and to not have your team get over confident.

I would agree, which is why I would be analyzing the Nebraska game. A thing of beauty in regard to rushing defense. So glad I could sit next to a nubbraska fan in the chairback section for that game. Made for a joyful experience. Sure wish they could find a way to ring people up for selling quality seats to a-holes.

A quality opponent doesn't show our worst game. They show us at our best. A team that has almost no chance to win, you show our worst. You show your players that even North Texas took us to the wire. You want them almost over confident. It's the only edge you have. The last game I'd show as a coach is the Texas and KU game.

didn't the n texas running back set some kind of record against us last year?

Running backs from UCF, CU, Baylor, NU, UNT and Syracuse had career highs against us. Kendall Hunter went for 130ish, Mizzou did it by committee...(232 yards rushing)

In our last four games we gave up something like a combined 1200 yards rushing...

We have to stop the run this year...
