Oh my god it was fantastic. Dyson didn't want to talk about getting picked off because he admitted that he screwed up and wanted to move on, and somehow they construed it as "the Kansas City Royals are boycotting Sports Radio 810 (the #1 sports radio station in Kansas City) because Eric Hosmer and Jarrod Dyson couldn't get in to the 810 zone for the Mayweather fight. WE WERE AT CAPACITY, FELLAS! IT WAS A SAFETY ISSUE!"
It was just wonderful. He kept calling them entitled brats. "Why is Lorenzo Cain so untouchable? HE CANT EVEN PLAY 150 GAMES, FORGET ABOUT 160!"
so mad that i missed it. was it in the monologue? or responding to a caller? hope it's podcasted.
It happened from 5:10 -5:30, he really let 'em have it, said that all Ned does is fill out a lineup card in his office and doesn't interact with the players, he doesn't even talk to players when he sits them (like Billy earlier in the season), one great
moment was when he asked how much managing could really be going on if Ned can't even talk to his right fielder (he acted like it was impossible to get a Japanese translator or something). Funny thing is, he hit in some of the same points that Rany wrote on his blog last Friday. The whole time Danny was basically "yes sir", "yep", "I totally agree", just bitb being bitb
