Update! Letter from "weather grandma." And yes, I'm going to call her right now.
Hi Jeffrey,
Hope all is good with you. We still are not experiencing much of a spring season. There was one day last week that was about 78 degrees and humid. That felt GREAT! Unfortunately, the bad weather returned soon enough, and my daffodils just can't seem to catch a break. I'm looking forward to warm weather once and for all.
Schools were closed this whole week so I didn't work at all. I kept myself busy. I saw two movies, made candy, went out to eat and worked the snack bar at bingo.
What have you been doing? I haven't heard from you?
If you get a chance, call me. I know you are busy.
Love,
Grandma
A little OT but still somewhat related.
Some older women has been calling my phone and leaving messages periodically since around Christmas time apparently thinking she is leaving messages on her sons phone. I've meant to answer the phone to tell her its the wrong # but she always seems to call at the worst time and now its been too long I think for me to call her back and let her know its the wrong #.
It all started off with a simple hey we are one our way to your place be there in a bit. Then she let me know someones dad apparently died(she was very shocked and somewhat gossipy about this), next message weeks later they lost her check in the mail so they put a hold on it(she was very upset about this one), just last weeks message it snowed there last week and they canceled school(she went into great lengths about the weather), and the last phone call was a 30 second message about stamps.
