message to pete:  mike alden is a loser ad who only knows how to lose.  look at his track record.  terrible and he's messed up this one too.  who cares because k-state isn't effected only going to get better from all of this.  

when something bad happens it can either kill you or make you stronger, one of those two things only.  if it does not kill you then you get stronger and stronger, day by day by day.  pretty soon you are the big dog from being so strong you eliminate your competition because they are weak.

why wouldn't frank leave?  it wasn't like ksu was setting attenedance records at KSU before Huggins/Martin got here.  As a fan base, we gave a sh*t about basketball just as much as Miami does.

This take is way off.  Huggs didn't have to win anything to fill the seats.  KSU is a bball school, and we were just looking for any excuse to celebrate bball again.

One thing I've learned over the past month or so about Seth Davis is that really has no clue what he's talking about. He's not connected at all and his in-game analysis is just brutal. He's got a beautiful face for TV, and that's about it.

The four years in bold for Clemson are the Rick Barnes years, the only time the glass ceiling was broken at Clemson. Barnes shrewdly jumped to Texas in what some viewed as a lateral move in prestige. However the success he has had in Austin would not have been easily duplicated at Clemson.

Step 2:  Nebraksa moves to Big 10, leaving MU as Big 12 "north" football power.
Step 3:  Open the Miami Job
Step 4:  Get a decent coach with a super low buyout
Step 5:  Watch KSU crumble when Frank leaves
Step 6:  RE-take over spot as "second in the north"

I agree that Davis is just throwing the natural connection out there, he has no real information.

But the past month has shown us that it really all depends on the agent and how he plays the media/twitter world. If Katz wants this to become a game, it will become a game, and we'll start getting all kinds of weird stuff out of local guys AND Miami people, probably starting today.
