This is tough on Tech. Its somewhat late for a change and lots of good candidates are already gone now. I'm sure they thought when they hired him that they were getting a good coach in his early 60s, if he built it back up he would be there to stay. Then he gets them to the tournament in only 3 seasons and leaves because its easier to win at Memphis, even though he's 64.

never been a fan of texas tech, they seem like a little brother school like iowa state. they don't bring anything to the conference, like iowa state, and are generally just a drain on the big 12's resources. would rather we just cut bait and let them join the mountain west or some other place where they better fit.
