All charges were dropped, looks like this group is a guilty until proven innocent crowd, sad really.
Were the facts disputed? That’s different than dropping relatively minor criminal charges.

The court of law can have their standard and I can have mine.  Nothing that's come out seems to indicate that he didn't do it, just that the victim felt it was in her best interest not to press charges.

I realize that, but as far as gallows humor goes, it's hard to stomach when it comes to domestic violence.

more fitting given the facts of his case.

True story from the DB92 archives: a young KITH was doing color for one of the Asbury b-ball games and at that time, if the Cats actually won the game, one of the assistant coaches would come do the post game interview. The student crew used to be at the very top of Bramlage, so the play-by-play guy would walk down to the court after the game to fetch the assistant coach (otherwise they'd forget) and then walk all the way back to the top. On this occasion, the play-by-play guy and Mark Fox were about halfway up the stairs and I yelled "we're on in 15 seconds!" and then they both hauled ass up to the top of the stairs and when they got to the top I said, "just kidding"

Always had mad respect for Mark Fox running up those stairs for the student radio station - what a trooper. Not quite as much respect for his b-ball coaching skills...

Very low mark adams iq admittedly, but if he doesn't look EXACTLY like the type of guy that would do every bit of that crap then that person doesn't exist.  Central casting wouldn't send him because he's too on the nose.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

UNC is the first team ever to be the preseason AP #1 and fail to make the tournament.  Now they have turned down their NIT bid.

I'd say Hubert is on a very hot seat.

An alum that was hand picked by Roy and made it to the national championship game last year is on the hot seat?

Roy will turn on him fast enough. He did it to Dougherty.

And UNC has espn’s 24th rated recruiting class coming in.  I bet they are not super pumped about that.

Not the same situation. I don't know about the hot seat right now, but he'll definitely have a short leash.

I once rode an elevator at the Westin in New Orleans with Hubert Davis, he was working for ESPN at the time.

Very nice man.

I definitely don’t like UNC very much, but I am glad to hear that he’s a nice guy. He’ll probably do fairly well, but I bet he’ll be under appreciated at UNC.

There’s already a meltdown brewing.  They’re insane, but at a half notch lower than Kentucky Basketball and Ohio State Football fans.

The biggest thing I noticed is that they just look like they’re in cruise control a lot of the time and I thought the same thing last year.  But they turned it on in some big games last year.

The multi-discipline and multi-institutional study of the professional/collegiate sports hiring/firing explanation and rationalization process would require an endless supply of money and have people who start the process, but never live to see it finished involved.
