Yes, IIRC Mrs. Frank Martin is from the Boston area and they met when Frank was at Northeastern

I don't see Southies getting offended when Frank drops an f-bomb or two. I would bet any SC fan that Frank has more success at Mass than whomever it is/was they hire. SC was a deadend job Frank took to rid his life of Currie (and make a shitload of money).

That's a very different Massachusetts than Boston, very different. Southies don't know a damn thing about UMASS.

Yes, but that's because they haven't had the right coach, not because of any inherent disadvantages they have relative to the rest of their conference. St. Bonaventure is the perfect example of how the right coach can turn around an A-10 school, quickly. It's a multibid league that doesn't have a blue blood or an insurmountable. Travis Ford has been at St. Louis for 6 seasons and there is no reason that Frank can't be more successful than him. The A-10 is an awesome basketball conference and if they offer him that job, he'll crawl to it. It's pretty far and away the best mid major conference and it's a job that multiple coaches have had success at.

I don't know if BC is in a meh stage, UConn definitely isn't. Syracuse is in big trouble. I do think BC, UConn, and UMass can all be good at the same time, it's happened before. It's better for all three programs if they're all good.
