People, especially women, who write/speak/communicate in such a way as to stir up controversy usually do it to fulfill a case of the "look at me's" brought on by lack of a father figure in childhood. The semi-smart ones become activists, opinion writers, etc.  The dumb ones become strippers.

When I was a little kid I was watching the winter olympics with my dad and asked him if he tought I would ever win an olympic medal and he started naming off sports like luge and curling and other shitty events that don't seem to require a lot of athletic ability that I could have a shot at.  I was kind of excited at the possibilities at the time because I was a stupid little kid and didn't understand that he was mocking me.

Yes, that purple shirt is too small, No, I'm not tripping on shrooms in that picture, but I wish I was.

The other picture was taken after the end of a really long day debating.

There's no way either Derek or I could "carry the team" - speeches are divided in such a way that the burden is almost exactly equal.

I'm not going to law school - getting a PhD at Johns Hopkins in international relations.
