Bill won't get fired, but he will retire again.

Just a matter of time.

a three win season may start the ball rolling.

Is it worth it too see the pain in Brown Bros, Harper, and Brod Smith's eyes after a humiliating season?  The answer is no, no it is not.

Highs wouldn't feel so high if not for the lows.

Haven't we had enough lows?  I want some highs.  And I want them with Brown bros, Harper, and Dan Sams.

You aren't talking about highs, you are talking about meh.

Our recent lows haven't been very low and our highs won't be very high unless Bill, or a new coach, is willing to address staff issues.

the anti snyder crowd must be pretty upset that the worst kansas state qb ever just graduated. sorry fellas, but nowhere to go but up from where the wildcats finished last year now that coffman is finally gone. looks like the antisnydites are going to be dealing with 8 wins minimum next year and there is no way can you fire a coach for winning 8 games at kansas state. sorry fellas.

We will win 8 or 9 games. LHC Bill Snyder is too good at coaching to take a step backwards.

Snyder may not take a step backwards as much as he is bumped off a cliff by a certain DC stumbling over a ladybug.

so let me get this straight...

-carson coffman was one of the worst college qbs in all of college fball last year
-kstate would've won mu and bu if carson didn't cost them those games
-we have both mu and bu at home this year
-collin klein was better than coffman
-collin klein is returning
-there are two qbs that are even better than klein that will be on the roster
-every wide receiver, the tight end and the fullback are back and healthy
-brown brother at running back

and the ksu football team isn't even going to win as many regular season games as they did last year? i don't get it. what am i missing?

How about replacing the three best OL with guys who will never be as good.

Let's not continue to separate Cosh and Snyder. They are one and the same. It is Snyder's incompetence that hired Cosh and retained Cosh. The blame for the defense this season must be placed on Snyder, and Snyder alone.

This is what I was getting at when saying it will take more than one.  Bill will be given at least a second chance if he gets rid of Cosh.  People have faith and faith isn't ruled by logic.

eff.  I didn't want to be in this camp.  I really didn't.  I said last year that if Cosh was retained that I wouldn't watch a single snap this year.  I can't do it.  I just can't.  And I'm not willing to root for multiple train-wreck seasons just so we can move on from Snyder.  It's not gonna happen anyway so we might as well just hope for the best.

Count me in, I guess.  I'm never gonna tuck my t-shirt in and I'm never gonna get behind Cosh, but I'm sure as hell not gonna wish for a disaster.

And all you guys that are hoping for a disastrous season just so you can be validated can eff straight off!  :kstatriot:

maybe we are looking at this the wrong way... snyds said he was coming back to calm the waters and right the ship... we have a couple good seasons, he thinks the waters are calm and he retires.  We can go out and pitch our good team to potential good coaches and have a chance...

If he does cacty and we fire him, good coaches think "damn, these guys couldn't win with prince so they fire him after 3 years, hire snyds back and fire him after 3 years... hmmm I see a trend here.  I think I will stay at (enter nonelite school here) and wait for a better job".

I think we need him to have a good year so that currie can tell him the waters are calm and his grandkids are getting older.  Then just make sure that currie doesn't let sean or anyone on staff take over.

This camp is simply watching the games until bill strokes out with no chance of anything else.  Stroke or bust.

Also, I don't want validation.   I want a new coach and staff.

I'm not gonna lie, I am an absolute tard when it comes to catskin football. Love it, absolutely love it.
And another thing I love Bill Snyderman.

Hey I love the crap out of my grandfather but that doesn't mean I want him working anymore.  Unlike Bill, when he retired he STAYED retired.  Don't think for a second I wouldn't fly a plane banner on my own grandfather if I had to.

Look, I want a new coach and staff too, but I'm not about to root for a meltdown as a means to an end.  Like you said, it's gonna take more than one year of sucking to get rid of Snyder and I'm not about to throw 2 or 3 years of KSU football away just so we can maybe get a better coach in.  I just don't see any sense in rooting for a disaster before the spring game even starts.  Trust me, I hate Cosh as much as anybody and more than most.  And I blame Snyder for assembling and retaining this crap staff.  But that's not going to make me wish for shitty football just to get them out.  There's other ways to get there from here.  If Snyder continues to lead us down a path of mediocrity/shittiness, then I trust Currie to pull the trigger.  If he doesn't, then it's on him.

The middle/end of a shitty season is the proper time to start talking about banners and billboards and going down in a huge ball of flames so that changes are made.  The beginning of a season is a time for optimism.  This is my team and coach for 2011 and nothing is going to change that...NOTHING.  There's no sense in hoping for the worst unless you're trying to pick a fight and/or are expecting the worst and seeking validation.

Once our season starts and it looks like it's doomed for failure, then I'll get back on the fire Snyder/banner/billboard bandwagon and may even start rooting for total destruction.  But right now I'm  :lynchmob:

Also, I wasn't really talking to you.  _33 seems to be the captain of the validation camp.

I get your stance, but one shitty season may be enough for staff to be addressed.

Also, I don't see any way that Currie could ever successfully fire Bill.  Ever.  Currie will be railroaded out before boosters let that happen.

If Currie did ever pull the trigger, boosters would tighten up on him so fast, it would cripple the rest of the AD.  Shortly after, he would leave, or be shown the door himself.  Lose/lose on the firing part.

Bill has to leave by his own power, and unfortunately that only happens in a few ways(most of which are unfavorable).

Okay now, this camp I apparently built is picking up steam.  Who's next?  Rick Daris?  :crossfingers: Steve Dave?   This camp tent was built extra big and could hold a bunch of people.  Also, we left an open space on the west side in case we need to add another big tent to the current big tent, thus creating a really big tent for this camp.  Ok Cat, come on inside this camp, would ya?

It's a scheduling quirk with new Big 12.  Other teams are having to do that too.
