so let me get this straight...

-carson coffman was one of the worst college qbs in all of college fball last year
-kstate would've won mu and bu if carson didn't cost them those games
-we have both mu and bu at home this year
-collin klein was better than coffman
-collin klein is returning
-there are two qbs that are even better than klein that will be on the roster
-every wide receiver, the tight end and the fullback are back and healthy
-brown brother at running back

and the ksu football team isn't even going to win as many regular season games as they did last year? i don't get it. what am i missing?

well we do lose the entire middle of our offensive line.  and they must have been alright for thomas to get a bunch of yards.. I mean he didn't do that himself...  Brod Smith is back at WR, probably the best WR we have.  And you have a 1 2 punch of Brown and Robinson in the backfield with Tuggle, as long as OB doesn't put Klien in instead of Tuggle because Klien has been there longer. offensively we are fine... and defensively we add A. Brown, so that's an improvement... but then again we still have Cosh as our D-Cord and Sean as our special teams cord, so that could eff us...

The swing games are Miami, Missouri, KU, TT, Ok State and A&M.  I have us going 2-4 in those games.  The floor is 4-7 (with 2 conference wins over ISU and Baylor) and the ceiling is 9-2 (with losses against OU and the CTR), depending on how we do on the swing games.  I think 6-5 is going to be pretty accurate.  

*But who knows

I think we have a much better chance of winning at UT than at OSU. UT was horrible last year, and we have had more recent success against those guys.

I don't think so. I think one disastrous season would be enough. The "steadily improving" talking point would be shattered. We just need a couple things to not go our way and I could really seeing us pulling off a season like this. A key injury or two and maybe a couple bad breaks in games.
