No way 'Te goes.

No way a high-major would want him at this point.

http://lubbockonline.com/sports-red-raiders-mens-basketball/2011-03-08/tech-expected-move-swiftly-replacing-knight

Tech supposedly wants to hire Pat's replacement in the next 10 days or so.

Given that time line, it has to either be a bad coach that isn't going to the tourney or Billy

He's giving us a preview of what he'll look like next to Frank next year.

Great "rally around coach" type of performance by the raiders.

Great "rally around coach" type of performance by the raiders.

Maybe by the players, but Pat just got beat by a horrible MU team.  Pat just showcased why he lost his job.

One thing to bear in mind with BCG and Tech.  even before he was fired Mike Leach had a big problem with people in Lubbock because he refused to do appearances.  BCG had this same issue at UK.  I'm sure this won't prevent Gillespie from getting the job, he'll say he will do them, but if he doesn't he may be on thin ice.  BCG saying he'll do them and actually going out with the donors are two different things, apparently dude likes to drink with the company of Jeanine Edwards or alone when she tells him to eff off.
