IMO there's very little chance of a Vanier 2.0 while LHC Snyder is around if it involves suites or clubs with any type of public (high paying public nonwithstanding) ingress/egress points through Vanier 2.0.    Particularly so if suites or clubs would block view of interior of stadium for football offices.

I hear from Manhattan based relatives that Snyder is no fan at all of Bramlage Condos/Hotel.     I also believe that the reason there's delays in the training table being opened is so they can avoid having it open this football season and work through the logistical challanges of having it open for next football season and possibly serving athletes while the football team is still practicing.   Provided that Sean isn't the coach by then.

Thus, IMO the paramount importance of a new practice complex in close proximity to the football offices.

I expect Vanier 2.0 will be similar except 1) less trees 2) all of our TVs will be tuned to Fox Sports 1.

alright, how about all the rumors we've heard/made up and maybe someone ITK will pop in with info regarding them. everyone feel free to add/update. (I gave what I thought was a realistic percentage of it happening in the next 5-10 years)

- New Scoreboards, ribbon boards, sound system. 99%
- Limestone wall, field perimeter upgrades. 49%
- Vanier upgrade/2.0 (built on the East side, to the Northeast, expand current, etc) 25% on East, 25% to the Northeast, 25% North, 25% expand current.
- Completion of the bowl on the North in any fashion. 40%
- New indoor/outdoor facility. 15%
- East side Facade if Vanier 2.0 is not built there. 0.05%
- Hotel. 51%
- Tree lined driveway leading up to WSC. 5%
- Party deck. 20%

lol @ demolishing the fOOd, a practice field will built on top of it before that happens

Building a new basketball arena does nothing for a school.

See: Texas Tech

Its a bummer Ahearn isn't even slightly more modern to accommodate a modern basketball game. I love old hoops venues.

Seems like the easiest thing to do. What is K-State's deal with trees, anyway?

Well there were no trees when the settlers first called the Flint Hills home.  They literally cut chunks of limestone to make fenceposts.  Anyway, I assume there is some sort of inherent, hereditary, and irrational fear of trees.

Well then. I guess my fear of reservoir dams bursting isn't so abnormal then.

Fearing trees is not irrational, Emo.  When I was in grade school, a car-load of teenage girls were going on a joy-ride on a dirt road on the outskirts of town and slammed into a tree, killing them all.  One of them was a good friend of my sister's, in fact.  Also, Sonny Bono says hi.

I'd adjust that to somewhere around 0.005%.

How excited are you guys to see the new bsfs expansion in person?  I know some of you have seen it but how excited are you to see it on a gameday?  Oh man, I'm really excited!

When I first see it I'm going to be non stop talking about how awesome it looks and how big it is to my wife and she's going to say something about how it looks the same to her and I'll start to get mad because how could she think it was the same but then I'll remember that it's adorable how little she knows/cares about sports and I won't be mad and I'll just look at the stadium again and be so happy.
