This doesn't matter. JC doesn't care, see the end zones on the field. It probably has more to do with them branding this as a center for/gateway to the university, thus they branded it as a university building, not an athletics building.

It just annoys me that the confy champ font is different and the "XYZ family plaza" font is different.

There are literally 10 words on the building in 3 different fonts.

2 brands. Athletic and academic. I imagine the unversity brand mark "kansas state university" is displayed at every athletic venue. I know its on the sides of the bsfs field and ood floor. That font is exclusively used in the mark - won't be used elsewhere. All other signage, uniforms, athletic letterhead uses that athletics font.
