An Old Town Hall Building full of charm, style and grace.   Or, an enlarged German pillbox modeled off the best the Siegfried line had to offer, joined by its homely friend on the East . . . early 1950's Fall Out Shelter, where once a banner graced its sides, inviting fans to partake in the Gridiron Club, coming Fall 2010.

So would this hotel literally be part of the stadium or would it just be built close?

Hotel is not dead.  Denver developers (and 3MAW alums) are putting numbers to it right now.

The hotel will no doubt be legit and make our stadium look pretty official, but I agree it doesn't get me as geeked as the other projects do.

Limestone wall......legit
Ribbon boards.....super legit
North endzone makeover.....legit as balls

Well, he's not wrong per se. The KC guys bailed because they didn't think they could maintain 40% occupancy. The Denver group has more money than they know what to do with and are so 3MAW they're ok with anything over 32% which would break even. One of them is building a house in Manhattan, so we could be talking about the same developers.

The new Vanier will likely be on the east side of the stadium.  Then it can provide a limestone east side to the stadium similar to the west side.  The old Vanier can then be torn down and the end enclosed.

Makes logistical sense.  I'd have to see renderings to know how I'd feel.

I love the Arizona concept, though.

So finish the east side castle, bowl in the north end zone with a giant video board on top, put suites on the south end zone, I guess I could possibly be down for that

I would be in favor.  I'm guessing the locker rooms would enter the field from the northeast and southeast corners and the refs would have to crowd surf their way to the field.

Also, credit to tim if Old Town Hall nickname sticks.

We won't be able to avoid adding significant seats if we move Vanier, right or wrong.

Probably looking at about 8,000-12,000 seats

you could just put up a 2 sided video board (field level), add some super premo seating on the endzone turf, maybe luxury chairs on risers kind of thing, spit balling here.  this would actually add to the view to the north without adding seats.  thoughts?

They should invest in moving enough dirt to make a hill to so people can 'tailgate'
