Will the "cool" Pinstripe Bowl K-State be on the new field at BSFS?

Yes . . . it's cool.  Currie Prevails.
NO . . . OB Wins again.

Last rough ridin' place: Memorial Stadium, Kansas
Opened: 1921
Capacity: 50,071
2012 Attendance: 41,329 (59th)

A poor home win-loss record (209-199-16), the old-school athletic track circling the field and simple styling make this the worst venue in the conference. The last major upgrade took place over a decade ago, the attendance is fairly small and the building itself lacks tradition and character.

An average attendance of 41,329 seems pretty high for a 1-11 team, I wonder how true that is?

41k is actually a mistake on the low end, KU fans are the best in the world and it was closer to 48k a game.

I find it hard to believe WVU has a better stadium than what we will have.  It's almost a carbon copy of Jack Trice.

If that is true then they don't.

Those were basically in order of attendance.  Tech/ISU and WVU were too high, TCU/KSU were too low

They factor in fanbases quite a bit. ISU fans having 53-56k for most games for a pretty mediocre team played into their rankings.

Why is your stadium so quiet with all those people there?

Do you have information comparing decibel levels in the two stadiums?

How much do you charge for tickets?

I'm asking because I don't give enough of a crap to look it up.

ISU fans do a great job of going to games.  I've been three times and each time it's been decently loud and tons of people.

I'm still confounded by their TLBPressBox.

The "pressbox" is all press and has no suites. Suites and club sections are located beneath the upper decks and are somewhat hidden. Its not pretty, and there aren't many, but they are there.

The plan is to build up the South Endzone first and get capacity >60k first. Thats probably been the plan now for 25 years.

25 years? Best to be deliberate. Haste makes waste.
