Just a geek question for construction people. They're already putting up lights, would't they be putting some type of finish on those still structures that support the lights? Would they just leave those light structures "construction red or brown or whatever"??

The "red-brown" is an oxide primer. The lights are probably being installed to be used to facilitate construction. The steel will then be painted around the lights, likely using a product such as a Tnemec Typoxy.

It's for the doors going in/out of the suites. Probably a wind block for the people in the suite. A door opening directly out to the field would probably let in a lot of wind when the door opens. Putting in that recess allows them to open the door from a position that the wind won't be able to just blast in. That's just my best guess.

The stone is a veneer in the sense its not load bearing and there is an insulated wall behind it. I'll see about getting some nonpotato pics soon since there is some interest.

Even though I (probably) can guess what it's for, but when I was looking at the construction cams today I saw them putting in what appears to be another level inserted at the top of the structure right above what would be the operations floor but obviously below the roof line. I would guess it's for camera/TV operations but I what surprised me is how it's not really noticeable until they began to work on it.
