Nelson, with his deep booming voice, was perhaps best known for his pet phrase that he used when K-State games got exiting, telling his listeners they were hearing a “rip-snortin’, hootenanny, double-barreled, deep-dish dilly.”

Good, we need to have something done with the video boards. What I really want to see is the south end zone video board go from the current size to like 3 of them in a row in terms of size and get rid of those way-past-their-prime defense and offense stats boards that have a several bulbs burnt out and use the new size of video board to display that info, and at need be, turn the whole thing into a super widescreen video board. As for the north end, they need to be more careful and make sure that whatever they do they the new video board is up and away so that Vanier can grow (see Phases 5 and 6) but still looks part of the stadium for the next 10 years until we get there. Another triple south endzone video board would be boss but maybe a bit of an over kill, a single or double sized screen should suffice, anything more than the microvision that is the north endzone screen. Finally, get rid of those little ribbon boards on the SE and SW corner in due time, and add ribbon boards that run the length on East and West side.

Good, if it get far enough behind and they miss some of the big deadlines dates and penalties start kicking in, we get the new pressbox dirt cheap and can redirect the money to phase 3 stuff.

Nope.  High chance the project is behind schedule due to the Athletic Department needing 200 people involved to decide the style of handrail to be installed.  Also Currie has to have a say in every little thing when it comes to these projects, and it slows them up tremendously. 

So the project will be behind, but penalties will not accrue from the contractor due to it being K-State's fault.
