Wonder if the average tuck noticed the change to the press box in the new flythrough? Taller towers!!!!!
Quote from: "storm"nut on December 03, 2012, 10:05:31 AMWonder if the average tuck noticed the change to the press box in the new flythrough? Taller towers!!!!! I did! The battlement at the top is also much more pronounced and appears to be fully operable now (and not just implied like the previous version). This is very good news, because if we're going to build a medieval castle, we might as well build a goddamned medieval castle.

Have they started cleaning out the Dev yet (furniture, etc.)? I think I'm going to make the trip to watch it fall. <----- Except wrecking ball banging against the Dev

But Dev isn't very big in the grand scheme of things. Also I'm sure they will be tearing down the bathrooms soon since they will need those cleared before the Dev falls.
What time is it coming down???

This is probably how Dev Demo will go; I think this was posted somewhere earlier in this thread:http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=pTW4wSIp1jg#t=134s

The Hobbit premieres that weekend so have a tough choice.
from what I understand the plan will be to selectively demo the rear support columns, so that the Dev rolls over onto it's back.

We are also looking forward to a memorable and emotional day with the demolition of the current Dev Nelson Press Box scheduled for the early morning of Saturday, December 15 th .
For a preview of what to expect, click here to see a very similar demolition that took place at the University of Iowa a few years back. Interestingly, the Iowa project was also managed by our construction management team.
how many wins per year should we expect now after this is done?
Quote from: yoga-like_abana on December 03, 2012, 10:08:37 AMhow many wins per year should we expect now after this is done?depending on who you ask on the board, anything short of a 25 game winning streak shouldn't be tolerated
