I think that's just a poster of a girl.  unless that enormous guy is actually high jumping over the concession stand.

yes.   There will be a steel column in the center most likely, encased in concrete.

We need to get back to the talk about cranes doing crane-like things

I wonder if Bill allows the cranes to operate while the team is using the practice fields to the south.  OBz may be concerned they are spying on the team offense.

Heard over the weekend that if any member of the crew is caught watching practice they are under orders from the Athletic department to have that person removed. No joke.

Heard this happened when the built the East Side Upper Deck and Suites back in the day.  Though it is a Hollywood re-enactment, I believe it sufficiently captures the "family" atmosphere that permeates the LHC Bill Snyder program and system.

They really went the extra mile in the picture to capture the reality of people in the agriculture industry, like with the guy up close on the right.  His left arm, or the arm that hangs out the driver's side window of the grain truck, is tan, but his right arm that is pointing back, the inside arm, is as pale as a ghost.
I got a guy on the other line about some white walls

so, when will they start putting up the steel for this beast?

also, are we ever going to get rid of the shitty concession tents in the south endzone? they might be the most small-timey thing about our stadium currently.

Pretty small timey.  But, less small timey than the concrete and the crap fence surrounding the field.

Concession tents will prob be there until Phase IV or V.

The most small-timey part of our stadium is by far the metal bleachers they pulled from Baker Field and crammed under the tiny scoreboards thingies in the horseshoe.

That's a real bummer.

I think on tv the crap fence and concrete are more small-timey. but, if actually at the stadium the tents are way more small-timey. makes me feel like I'm at the county fair in the poorest county in the world.

You should be thankful the ones under the scoreboards are the only ones left.

True, they look better (somehow) than the ones they pulled from Wilson Field that have now been torn down...but not by much.

Eventually the tents will go away, but not for a while.  THESE THINGS TAKE TIME, PEOPLE.
