Will the "cool" Pinstripe Bowl K-State be on the new field at BSFS?

Yes . . . it's cool.  Currie Prevails.
NO . . . OB Wins again.

There were good things about Weiser . . . but Tim was pretty much all about putting cash in his pocket and he took Weefer to the cleaners.

Tim Weiser ='s

Weefer ='s

Weiser was okay.

Weiser was okay if your AD standards don't include facility upgrades or fundraising.

I mean, yeah, the dude could track turkey like a native american.  It's just too bad he did it in place of attending, ya know, football games and stuff.

Rumor is that what exactly to do about Endzone Slide of Death has not been fully resolved.

Dax observation skills determined a few days ago when a roll of of Gameday Grass was placed on the "lip" of the field and Slide of Death Zone there was a noticeable speed bump.

Rumor is there's a hot debate as to whether to grind down Asphalt and put in GamedayGrass or as Dax speculates possibly place the AstroTurf12 product in Slide of Death Zone.

Developing.

Would this be a noticeable material/color difference?

Color can be controlled in production process.

The base layer of GameDay Grass is very similar to AstroTurf 12.

i love tim weiser and you all are idiots.

Tim Weiser was lovable in a Dan Quayle lovable kind of way.

It appears that the Zone of Death issue has been resolved.   They're putting turf down.

THIS is perhaps a bigger deal than the new turf on the field.

Looks on the webcam like the ZoD turf is a different shade of green.  :ck:

Let's not overreact quite just yet.  Dax appears to be all over this.  Let the man work.

Still.  Why the eff would you make them different colors?  Seems like a no-brainer.   :flush:

Something to ponder while Dax scoops out the story on this BSFS slide of death...

Perhaps it could motivate.

At U.S. Toy (number-one pak party supply store), we sold corrugated paper rolls with various outdoor material graphics (brick wall, gray castle wall, etc.).  Perhaps we could just line the metal rails with a giant roll of limestone-looking corrugated paper.  I think doom has done something similar in his mancave entry.

look at turfcam now...endzone view to see greenery in the death slide area.  B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!  Due the limestone wall yesterday around the field!

Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

Would look amazing. Can't imagine it would be but a small chip of the renovation funds to actually do this too.

May sit down and pray for this actually. Dear ghost of Roberson and Bishop's K-State days, please be with our AD as he embarks on this decision making process. Help him to see the potential for greatness that could be the limestone wall. Guide him as he decides to make EMAW elite and build this wall before you inhabit the body of Daniel Sams and lead us to the national championship you where wrongly denied in your previous lives. Amen.

goddamn, i think i'm about to cry. constantly fighting the small-mindedness of the average k-state fan is exhausting, but it will be all worth it and more when we finally have stuff like this. No people, we don't HAVE to have cardboard advertisement signs twisty tied to metal railings all over our football stadium. We CAN have awesome pressboxes and limestone walls and the most incredible rough ridin' meat goat program this side of the mississippi, go state go cats go currie

First off . . .  The Wall . . . The Wall

Can not tell just yet, but remember if they used GameDay Grass in the Slide of Death Zone, they may not have put the infill down yet, thus the 2 different shades.

Limestone wall is not happening anytime soon. AD studied it, but elected to not proceed due to a multitude of reasons. There will be improvements to the appearance of the fence/ads, but no wall.
