Will the "cool" Pinstripe Bowl K-State be on the new field at BSFS?

Yes . . . it's cool.  Currie Prevails.
NO . . . OB Wins again.

The parking lots near that dump they have , have actually expanded over the years.

Kstate's campus is starting to fill in fairly rapidly around BSFS, Jardine is less than 500 Feet from BSFS.

When the permanent soccer stadium and improvements to the Frank are complete.  Kstate will have some of the best on campus athletic facilities in the country.

I've visited a billion stades across the country and I would say this is a bit of a reach. Top half for sure, top 3rd? Maybe.

I have as well. He's talking about the overall complex and I absolutely agree.

Ah, I see. Wasn't thinking about it solely as overall complex, I guess.

Super easy to have a unified athletic complex when you just build holes in the ground on the edge of campus that's surrounded by farm land for farm humping instead of having a stadium flanked by a majestic tiny hill

I agree with Dax that we will have an amazing complex.  I'd also think, although smaller, that we really do have some great facilities individually.

Louisville has an amazing complex.  Visiting there made me sad that we didn't bring them into the Big 12 when that opportunity was a possibility.

I wouldn't say we have smaller facilities, all of the Big 10 and most of the SEC have gigantic football stadiums, but we are right on par with football stadiums in the Pac 12 and the ACC exceptions being off campus football stadiums. Bramlage is a pretty big basketball arena.

I guess I was thinking of the Big 12 more as my metric.  I'll bow to your knowledge of PAC and ACC if you say they're similar.

I've only been to a few places, but I feel like our facilities are nice.  I was shocked at how shitty things are at Hoglund Ballpark and wasn't really impressed with Hilton (especially the exterior), and we all know about Memorial.

Mold abatement can really cost a ton of dough, and even after it is cleaned up, things are never quite the same.

I might as well bump up this glorious thread.

Will the limestone wall be complete for the 2017 season?  i.e. Should I be getting excited about another off-season BSFS construction project to keep tabs on?

Albeit "only" about $6 million in total projects this off season, still another year of getting to admire the pictures and progress of further improvements to BSFS.

Would love to see the rendo's they came up with for the South Endzone.

Took the Hawks 4 years to raise the $2million to renovate their locker room into a cosmic bowling alley.

I once won 24 "coupons" on one game of skee-ball in there, though.

In the grand scheme of things, millions are being spent by a ton of schools on projects that aren't needed and aren't really necessary relative to the core mission of the school.  But here we are.

Also can we bring a crane in just to have it tower over BSFS for a month or two?  I mean it doesn't really have to do any work, just so everyone coming over the horizon knows there is more going on.
