the players walking out of that tunnel, at night will be amazballs
Picture this:
It's another elite K-State Thursday night game and we make it a blackout game. The crowd is getting amped. Then our giant video boards go dark and all the lights (aside from those needed by code) shut off with a dull clicking noise.
The crowd immediately goes silent. The opposing team runs on the field, bewildered. No boos or anything. Then from the depths of the Icetron the tower of Anderson Hall can be seen from campus, the camera pans down and its Willie at the Bluemont bell. He begins to ring it in sync with the intro to Hells Bells as it fades in.
A light flickers in the tunnel. Slowly, a purple light creeps toward the field, growing in intensity, and stops at the edges. Fog starts to pour out, it's tendrils creeping along the limestone field wall wrapping the all green field. The fog builds and the band begins to play purple haze. It's coming from the newly finished NE endzone as well as at this point.
The other team is very confused and scared by now. Then once the fog can't build anymore, our players burst forth and the band roars the fight song from its perch in the NE endzone.
KState wins with the score 18-63 on its way to a National Title.
