My folks' seats are second row upper deck on the north 30 or so. Those seats really have the best view in the house. You do feel a little disconnected from the game up there.

Sat in the UD a couple of times. The view is neat for a bit, but I'd rather watch on TV. Like you all said. It's about as stale as it gets up there. Maybe it sounds better now with the giganto press box, but I doubt it. Also, not being able to see the students easily makes it lamer.

UD is great for families. Sat up there for the 2012 Texas game and was surrounded by kiddos. Severely limited the amount of anger I was able to bring.

When you look at vanier2.0 from inside the concourse of bramlage (ne concourse) it looks like the stands are on the 50 yard line, it's weird how much bigger it looks in person

It can't possibly be as tall as it's gonna get yet, can it?

I mean looking at the photos and web cams, then comparing to the rendering, it just looks like it has to be much bigger to if the drawing below is to scale with cars/semis, etc.

I think it is. it's 3 stories above ground. looks more like 4 stories with the front facade, towers and scoreboard all extending above the top floor.

the height of a semi-trailer is roughly the same as a story. 12-14ft??? renderings look about right. 4 semi-trailers tall.
