Out of curiosity, do you townies know who is doing the demo?  I'm a bit mystified at using a crane and wrecking ball for such a small building. 

Mortenson & GE Johnson Construction. They also have cool hardhats with Vanier 2.0 on them

Right, but are they the ones actually doing the demolition?  My experience with Mortenson has been that they are just a GC and hire other contractors to perform most of the work.

The (big) crane has a drill rig on it.  They were drilling on the hill yesterday. 

They are using excavators to rip the building apart

I don't care how big or small the current structure is, and admittedly I know little about this, but I'd be coming at it with the most destructive crap I could get my hands on... I mean I'd have my crew swinging two giant wrecking balls at it to symbolize the huge rough ridin' nads our program has developed over the past 25 years while just bulldozing the crap out of the sides that the giant balls weren't crushing.

Just reduce the thing to dust and then come in with a crew of dudes with leaf blowers to move it out of the area... maybe hire Mueller's landscaping crew or something, amirite?

Yes, I was on site monday and their crew were the ones taking down the walls with excavators.

Not a bad guess, but those roll offs don't look glossy like McPherson's.  Matte roll offs like those are generally from Oregon.

Not a bad guess, but those roll offs don't look glossy like McPherson's.  Matte roll offs like those are generally from Oregon.
