Do you guys even understand the ying and yang of the world? We need posters like carnes. The universe needs posters like carnes. For fucks sake, what kind of board is this.

Problem with Carnes, is that it's his act, his shtick . Shticks are only good if they are funny, and he isn't. He probably is more negative than most IRL, but it's not like negativity is bashed here.

I mean I get it. He isn't always funny, but I appreciate when, in a thread like this, 1,000 people in a row say the facilities are awesome, and then one guy says they suck. I laugh. I dunno.

The thing is, he does it in every single thread he posts in.

Should we get then?  Round up the posse, let's get 'em!

The difference is that kim carnes never breaks character, so people except it. If you posted that pic, people would think you're either trying too hard or trying to be a different person, because it would be out of your character. It's the same reason kanye west can get on national tv and say the president doesn't care about black people, and not screw up his whole career. People knew that was just kanye being kanye.
