I had a little fun yesterday with them. I think a few might have been frothing at the mouth a bit. I knew once you say something about their basketball it's full on meltdown time. I  was right. Prolly get banned again lol.

What would you say are the overall feelings about the panel seperating the big from small windows covering up part of the field, from the upper pressbox seats, to be?

They are in the process of hanging TV's right there.  Also I was standing on the second tier of press seats when I took the pic.  The small windows shouldn't hinder sight lines at all.  Should be a good view of the action I would say.

Also in reference to the TV view, what I heard yesterday was that ESPN and other broadcasters informed KSU that the camera bays won't work.  So the way I understand it they won't be used for broadcasts.

How do we do such a big project and let this happen?  Wouldn't they think about this stuff in the beginning?  Or did we make these camera bays for our own filming purposes and tell ESPN to take care of their own business?

When I saw the rendering the first time I thought "AWESOME!" then I thought "Where are the broadcast booth and cameras going to go? No way that top level has enough spaces for home and away radio, broadcast booth, tv camera bays, officials booth, home and away coaches booth, announcers booth, game production booth"

KU saying their bball facility is better than K-State's is really dumb.  I've walked through both multiple times.  They are very different, but if you separate the "practice only" space with the arena/HoF space there is really no comparison.  Silly talking point really...

ESPN approved the plans before it was built, disapproved once it was actually built

There will be a broadcast camera position at the top of the seating bowl on the concourse.  Where they should have been all along.
