Amazing how far we have come

Amazing how similar the East Stadium facade resembles the current east side of KU's Memorial.

Yep and we even with our crapy teams put money into covering it up. I do wonder what we could have done with it. Made a full bowl and a full upper deck bowl and lowered the field, ditch the track. Man it would have rivaled any place in the world.

There are at least a few A.D.s in the conference that are jealous about this aspect of KSU.

Equipment
Travel expenses
Coaches offices
Locker room
Scholarship expense
Support staff (medical, film, equip mgrs, etc)

Unless you just want a barebones team with zero financial support (think KSU football in 1980s), you are going to have to spend a lot of cash to start and operate a new program. Don'tget me wrong, I'm in favor of adding softball and both men's and women's soccer, but at least I acknowledge it would be expensive to do.
